Inspections & Repairs

Whether you have a single structure like a traverse wall, or a full-service and dynamic challenge course in the woods, annual inspections are required by both the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and most insurance companies.

Our highly skilled inspection team will schedule and conduct your annual inspection and give you a robust inspection report, including any recommended or required repairs.

To operate your challenge course elements safely and to maintain them for years to come, schedule your annual inspection today.

The Inspection Process

  1. Scheduling - Scheduling is done on a first-come/first-serve basis. Whenever possible we will arrange to inspect and repair your course when we do others in your area. If you are aware of other challenge courses in your geography that would benefit from our services, please encourage them to contact PA.

  2. The Inspection - On-site, PA will conduct a thorough hands-on, physical inspection of your challenge course site (trees/poles/gymnasium), all elements, and every piece of equipment.

  3. Safety Concerns - If your course requires immediate attention related to any critical safety concerns, we will tell you, in writing, on the day of the inspection.

  4. The Report - Soon after your safety inspection, you will receive a comprehensive written inspection report. This document includes a detailed evaluation of the condition of each element and piece of equipment. The report also provides recommendations or suggestions that could extend the life of your course and dually anticipates future repairs so you may consider them in long-term budget planning.

Our Commitment to Safety

A course is only as safe as the people who operate it. In addition to maintaining your elements and equipment, it is important to maintain your staff’s technical skills. We strongly recommend pairing a Technical Skills Refresher Training with your annual course inspection at least every other year, or whenever you bring on new staff. Let our team know when you’re scheduling your inspection that you’re interested in training and we’ll take it from there.
