Who should attend:

Challenge course managers, challenge course practitioners, and any one who is seeking to become a challenge course manager.

Curriculum includes:

  • Updates on licensing and credentialing as related to Challenge Course Management.
  • Techniques and discussion on creating a professional development plan for challenge course facilitators.
  • Tour of PA's challenge course and an introduction into viewing elements with a critical eye for risk managemnt.
  • A work session on writing your own local operating procedures with support, input and guidance from PA staff.
  • Meeting, networking and learning from other challenge course practitioners.

Lunch is included.

Registration from 8:30-9:00

Workshop from 9:00 - 3:30

Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required.

Bring a list of your challenge course elements, any operating procedures you've already created and a copy of "The Guide for Challenge Course Operations" by Bob Ryan.  Copies will be available for sale at the session.

Register two or more people from the same organization for a $20 per person discount.

 

 

 


Tuition: $120

For workshops located in Beverly, MA or Covington, GA, meals are required; lodging is optional. Other workshop site policies on the availability of meals and lodging vary. Please refer to site locations for more information.
