The Carol M. White Physical Education Program grant applications for 2009 are out!
In an effort to assist Local Education Agencies, School Districts and Community-based organizations with the application, Project Adventure's Sales and Grant writing team has developed a packet of information to help you navigate the process. Download 2009 PEP Grant Overview. In the past, Project Adventure models were included in many successful grant applications. Based on this success, we can confidently tell you that the implementation of a ropes course and Adventure program, which is aligned with your school's needs as well as state and federal educational standards, presents quite a compelling case. And this year, our new Achieving Fitness activities offer an easy-to-implement solution that will strengthen your application. The grant application form can be accessed here. The grant application closing date is March 6, 2009. While the PEP grants are one source of potential funding for your Adventure program, there are a variety of other sources:
